"The job was completed in early March 2026 and the sod that was used was sub-par or dormant. As of 5/12/26, there are still many areas where the sod has failed to properly emerge - even with near daily watering. Some patches grew up dense, green, lush, and strong, while other spots (in pull sunshine) are sickly looking. When I consulted with Luiz before the warranty expired, he assured me that he would come by and examine it. If he did, he never contacted me. The land was cleared but apparently there were still some root remnants sticking out of the soil. After the manure/fertilizer was spread, it lay exposed for a number of days before the sod was spread. The topsoil/fertilizer was NOT watered before sod installation, and it was barely watered by the installers after the sod was laid. The land wasn't leveled very well - there were some lumps, a hard root is felt in one place, and the placement of the sod left 2" plus gaps between in some places. I'm saddened at how the lawn looks."
