"Dan came out to look at my old yard and discuss options. His quote seemed high, however I understand the cost of doing business and decided to proceed with his proposal, which included an irrigation system which can be expanded to use in the back yard at a future date. The rains came with his crew and the front yard became a muddy mess. Grass was delivered but could not be installed because of the rain. To make sure my new grass would be good, Dan had those pallets removed from the street and brought another set in. Gary came up with a solution for the annoying drainage "ditch" in the front yard by installing a pipe that would connect to the city pipe with two drains and filling in the dip. He also set up the sprinklers and showed me how to work the timer. They also gave good advice about mowing and fertilizing and recommended a nearby business for weed and bug control. Since the grass has taken hold I have been very busy cutting it! My neighbors and friends who drive down the street comment regularly about how beautiful the lawn is. I've been inspired to create a large butterfly garden in the back yard and intend to have the rest landscaped one of these days. Since the yard is my "staycation," I am very happy that Beautiful Blooms got it started and would recommend their services to anyone. <br />"

"We called Brandon because our new home already had termite protection arranged by the builder and because it got decent reviews on Angie's List.  The sales rep came right out and we signed up for a quartely house service and monthly lawn service.  The sales rep sprayed the inside of the house that day.  Another rep came out a couple of days later and did the lawn.  We had to pay $219 for the initial start-up but are now paying $59 per month for the house and yard.  We have a 2,000 sq. ft. house and they noted the lawn size at 3,000. <br /> The sales rep said not to freak out if we see some activity for about a week after the initial spraying.  We have not seen pests in the house generally with two exceptions.  The kind that fly in when you open the doors, and we saw a fairly large scorpion in the garage right by the door to the house on Saturday after the spraying.  I called Brandon and the only suggestion they had was to stay away from the area until they could send someone out on the following Friday.  The woman promised to get someone out earlier if possible, but waiting almost a full week before we could access the cars through that doorway was not an option.  My husband killed it with a large shoe despite it putting up a fight.  We saw another smaller scorpion in the office of the house a few days later and killed that one, too.  Nothing more yet to report on unusual activity.  That is the reason I gave them a B on responsiveness. <br />"
