The work was completed as scheduled and I was very pleased with the work done. CJ's Home Maintenance also repaired exterior steps by leveling and shoring them up to make them safe and usable. They painted the exterior front house door and windowed side panels, which looks great and adds curb appeal! There were no additional costs and I paid the quoted price. "Things they did well: They painted the screened porch without getting paint on the screens, They showed up at 9:00AM each morning ready to work Things that were not done well: Did not hand wash areas to be painted as we had agreed. I ended up washing areas myself before they could paint over more dirt. Did not remove and replace split and loose caulk, just painted over it. When they painted the front door they slopped paint around the inside of the door, I had to remove this paint myself and repaint the door edge. They slopped paint on my outdoor furniture cover and the porch floor. They didn't paint the top edge of the screen door. When I complained they sent an experienced painter out to see if the issues could be fixed. most could not or I did the repair myself. This was a several thousand dollar job, They did make a small price reduction for all the problems."

"Mike and crew did an excellent job.  They are clean and punctual, and return phone calls.  Our house needed a lot of misc repair/painting work in various areas.  Also good and working to match colors to existing to avoid need to repaint where possible.  Crew ranged from 1 to 5 painters at a time depending on area - none were subcontractors. <br />"

"Scott personally visited to view and give estimate. At a later date a crew of three men pressure washed the deck. Debris and chips flew everywhere, but they had covered the plants to protect them, and when they were done they hosed off the siding. They even helped move some of the heavier items off the deck before starting. They were careful and professional. The date for staining had to be rescheduled a couple of times due to rainy weather and work schedules. A crew of four arrived and in one afternoon, did some additional sanding and wood prep, filled in a couple of small holes (at no extra charge), helped move the furniture, and applied two coats of stain. They were friendly and answered our questions. Obviously they were experienced because they worked well together. Two things come to mind with this job. First, on the day of staining, they used an electronic moisture meter to verify that the wood was sufficiently dry to apply the coatings. Second, where the deck rails meet the house at two locations, there was not a single drop or smear of stain on the vinyl siding. Very impressive! When they were gone, there was no sign they had been there, except for a clean, fresh, new-looking deck."
