He walked me through the process, told me where to find more info on youTube, how to fold the rug and pack it up for shipping (from MA to FLA). Martin arranged for FedX to pick up the rug the next day. The rug arrived at Martin's place a few days later and he contacted me as soon as he received and gave me updates on progress. "We had lots of spots from spills and pets that needed special attention throughout the carpeted areas. Plus there was a small area tracked with red play-doh that was a real concern. Some spots I had treated with spray-on carpet stain removers. Sometimes it removed the stain but always left an ugly circle of stain and cleaning product, which I think is typical for white and almost-white carpets. All the stair steps were grungy on the edge of the step. They had been "professionally" cleaned previously but never really looked clean. Joe Ray got our carpets clean and looking brand new. The carpets were not stretched as you sometimes see when carpets are cleaned. We did have to give Joe a call to request that he return for some new spots that appeared as the carpet dried. He didn't mind a bit and explained that liquid can actually soak through the carpet into the padding only to surface upon cleaning. Joe made the spots go away and they have stayed gone. Did I mention we have young grandchildren? I no longer have to worry about their messes, even spots on the upholstered seats of the dining chairs are something Joe has assured me he can take care of when the time comes. It's inevitable. By the way, our home is about nine years old. We have been here six. As long as Joe is in business I will no longer fret about white carpet. Also, we won't wait so long to call him the next time we need him. Joe Ray deserves our compliments and our appreciation. He is thorough, painstaking and neat in his work. "They were prompt - even a bit early. <br /> They took care to raise wooden furniture on foam pads or plastic when possible. <br /> Did an excellent job of cleaning, especially a few stain spots. The carpet was not over soaked, nor did it have a heavy "deodorizer" smell. We had a challenge where a fish tank had leaked and they did an excellent job of cleaning the carpet in that area. <br /> Carpets dried in the time they said they would and do have have a residue like some leave. <br /> The gentlemen were very polite, nice, well informed. <br /> They worked quickly and efficiently. <br /> Overall above expectations.
