We love to take small, unusable areas and turn them into an inviting space for grilling, dining, entertaining, or simply enjoying beautiful Colorado weather. That old weathering box out back becomes your favorite place to be. In the last 19 years we have become the leader in the deck building industry in the Colorado Springs area. Building quality custom decks at affordable prices has become our mainstay. Rocky Mountain Custom Decks maintains a General Contractor’s license in El Paso and Teller Counties, is a member of the Better Business Bureau, and possesses general liability insurance. A 5 year warranty on workmanship is standard. We also offer extensive financing options.
"We had Rocky Mountain Custom Decks build our deck about 10 years ago. My husband is an engineer and he was highly impressed with the work by Nate and his crew. So, when we decided to replace our front porch rails with Trex we knew who to call. When Nate started working on our porch, he discovered Classic Homes was only using 2x4 beams to support the roof over the porch. Classic built a box around each support beam so we never knew! Nate replaced them with treated 4x4 beams. Our porch was not level so he had to make several adjustments to ensure the Trex railings lined up correctly and looked level from the street, side of house, etc. He consulted with us each time to make sure we were ok with what he was doing to account for our builder's screw ups. It's nice to have a contractor that treats each project like it is for his own home. I fully trust Nate to give me a quality job every time. I wouldn't use anyone else."

Due to the high demand for our level of service, we have a $350 minimum job size - but we have other amazing contractors we can refer you to for those smaller jobs. "We hired Homefix to install wood floors on the main level of our home. The contractor who did the work did a horrible job. He did not stain under the fridge, the stove (or the toilet-as we found out later). This contractor was later fired, and Homefix still stands by their work. It’s been a couple of years and the floors are now warped, scratched and the stain is splotchy. We asked for 2 coats of polyurethane, and we received none. We recently asked them to come out and look at it. The owner came out and brought another contractor with him. They said they could redo the floors at full price. When the contractor was alone with my husband, he told him that it was shoddy work and that the original contractor had done a horrible job. We’ve asked Homefix to fix the problem and the owner still maintains that the original job was fine. We’ve tried hard to be cordial and understanding, but we are getting frustrated."
