"Trying to maintain 1.5+ acres has become more challenging so we looked for a service that we could rely on to do what we needed, when we needed it. As my husband as been known as both the Lawn Ranger and the Sod Father, there is high standard for quality and professional service. We contacted Steve who came out that day and spent as much time as we needed to walk the entire property and discuss our needs. Then he told us, in a very clear and honest manner, what his company does, how work is priced, what type of equipment he uses, and answered every question we could throw at him. We asked him to put together a proposal for our review which he e-mailed within a day. It was very exacting in its detail regarding what would be done and when over the 12 month period including application of fertilizers, pruning, etc.. The ultimate goal is to keep the property presentable and in good shape all the time - year round. The cost is spread evenly over the 12 months which makes budgeting easier for us. <br /> Nicholson's began caring for our property two months ago and we are very happy so far. As promised, they have begun to work on things like the pruning and shaping of our trees and shrubs. Steve creates his schedules knowing that bad weather is inevitable and leaves room to make sure he can get to all his clients even if it isn't on the "regular" day. Best of all, we don't have to worry about coming home from time away and finding overgrown conditions. We can't wait for Fall and being able to enjoy the color instead of agonizing over leaf removal. We love our home and know that having this service will keep us in it for years to come. <br />"

"He has been doing my yard for 11 years. I had massive trimming done, and it cost $400. I had lots of shrubs, and it had to be hauled off and cut. It took two of them all day long. I can leave home and be gone for months, and he will take care of it. They are very dependable and honest. One time he accidentally cut my hose, and he went and bought the piece and fixed it."

"The guy was really nice. He hasn’t done any work for us yet. We haven't even decided whether we are going to let him have the bid.  I thought that the recommendation he made was reasonable.  I think it's probably more than we are going to be willing to pay. I think the quote is high, but I don’t know if that's because he is expensive. I don’t have enough information yet to make a judgment about whether that's just a reasonable amount for the amount of work he would be doing or if it's a little high for the kind of work that we are asking him to do. At this point time, that's all the information I have about him. I picked him because of Angie's List and because his recommendations were good on Angie's List. I'm sure he does good work. Just from meeting him and interacting with him, I think the quality of his work will be good. But I'm not sure we are willing to pay that much money to have that work done if there's some alternative to doing it that way. I don’t think his quote is probably unreasonable for what he is offering to do. We may just have to not have such a good job done because we can't afford it. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about him. I think what he recommended to do was reasonable to do. I think the quote is probably reasonable for what he is offering to do. He was very professional.  He was there right when he said he would be. He was very professional in the way he interacted with me. He took a very careful look at what our situation was to see what needed to be done. His recommendation was reasonable. He got back to us with the quote in a very reasonable amount of time. The price feels high to me, but I don’t know because he is the only person I've gotten a quote from. So in order to have some sense of whether that's too high or too low, I have to have some other information and research. With regard to quality, I haven't seen his work.  I think based on my judgment of him that it would be good. He was very responsive. He was there within a day after I called him. We made an appointment right away, and he came right away. He was right on time. In fact, he was early; he got there before I did."

We bought a new house and desperately need to upgrade the landscaping in the front yard. Erin worked with us to identify shrubs and plants that worked with the astetic of our house and our own personal taste. Erin and her team arrived promptly on the day of installation. She made sure to get our feedback along the way making sure we were in agreement with the overall layout.  Erin treated us like VIPS-going above and beyond what any normal landscaper would do. She even took it upon herself to make a special trip to Lowes to pick up two large red pots she put by the front door as an accent.
