Joseph Sheffey of Rowan Tree Care came to the house, made a thorough assessment of the tree, gave us some wonderful recommendations. The price he quoted was well in line with other tree companies, who had subsequently not shown up for the work as it was too hard for their level of expertise. I was contacted the day before they were available for work. Then the next day, the climber and support crew were here by 8am, went immediately to work, and completed the pruning and some of the clean up that day. The next day, they again showed up promptly and had the mess cleaned up by noon. They replaced all the deck furniture they had moved the day before and the place looked wonderful. The tree is amazing, looks great and healthy!"

"The workers who did the actual labor of cutting two trees down, one (very large tree) in a delicate location, did an excellent job. Unlike the person who commented that you could hardly tell they had been in the backyard, they left a bit of a mess of a sparsely grassed trail where equipment had run across several times. Apart from that, it is the owner who gave me crap about contacting him rather frequently and changing the plan related to one tree. He is a very poor communicator and letting you know when your job will be done. I realize that weather plays a factor in timing, however, this man did nothing to help indicate when they would be coming out until it was a week and a half before and even then he gave me incorrect information about when they would be out. Secondly, as a businessman, he thinks that the customer is there for the convenience of the owner rather than the other way around.
