"I contacted Turf Care based on their excellent Angie’s List reviews and so far they have exceeded my expectations in every way. Since I didn’t contract with them until late spring, it was too late for the first couple of treatments, so a full year review won’t be possible until 2019. However, the treatments they have done have already begun to improve the condition of the lawn. I included aeration and over-seeding and that is underway now. Beyond the actual services to the lawn, I have found their overall customer service to be exceptional. Beginning with my first call to them and in every encounter since, I have been treated like a valued customer. From the receptionists, to the customer care staff, to the technicians, every individual is responsive, helpful, professional and friendly. Could not be more satisfied!"

"I called Davey Tree to establish an appointment for an estimate. They sent a representative (Bob, I think) within a few hours to take a look. The representative examined the tree in question and concluded that, yes, that cherry tree was dead or dying. I requested that it be removed with a number of the saplings that were growing in my yard. We walked around my yard while I pointed out which saplings to remove. The representative wrote a contract and sketched a diagram of my property and where the trees to be removed were located. I examined the contract and the diagram before signing and kept a copy of both. <br /> <br /> Davey Tree arrived on the scheduled date. They will perform work even if you are not at home, if you authorize it. They removed the tree and the designated saplings and used a stump grinder to shred the stump below ground level. They left the wood chips behind and those decomposed over the space of a few months. <br /> <br /> Overall, I thought that this was a good job. <br />"

"The three man crew was quick, courteous and professional. They took down a 50 foot tall tree and left my yard and brick driveway immaculate. They were extremely careful not to damage my neighbors house that was close to the takedown. Proper credit is due, also, to lead man Alfredo. He was courteous enough to introduce his team, as well as, carry-on a good conversation. This, to me, was going beyond professionalism. And was an added value to their services. Thanks, guys. "Went seamlessly. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to call them or if they would call me, but within a couple of days of purchasing the service on Angie's List, I was contacted by email from Chem-Wise with a scheduled week that the service would be done (about 2 weeks out.) The technician showed up on Tuesday of the scheduled week and took about an hour to thoroughly aerate and reseed the lawn. (In other words, he didn't rush it.) He used a powered seed spreader which seemed to give good coverage with plenty of seed. I looked over the lawn after he finished and he got every spot aerated and seeded. And he didn't damage my drainage systems with the aerating machine (like my regular landscapers have done in the past!) He left a pamphlet with lawn care information explaining (among other lawn-related topics) how often to water after seeding to get the best results. So basically everything went as smoothly as possible. I would use them again, possibly even for additional services next year. (My regular landscaper is on thin ice now, ha ha!)"
