He walked me through the process, told me where to find more info on youTube, how to fold the rug and pack it up for shipping (from MA to FLA). Martin arranged for FedX to pick up the rug the next day. The rug arrived at Martin's place a few days later and he contacted me as soon as he received and gave me updates on progress. "I was looking to get my carpets cleaned and specifically wanted a few stains removed. I got wonderful service from the office and the woman I spoke to was going to advise the techs to pretreat the stains.  She was not only friendly but able to schedule the service quickly. <br> <br>On the day of the scheduled cleaning, the techs arrived as scheduled. It was helpful that I am bilingual or we could have had a language barrier. I asked if the techs knew about the stains and they did not. I showed them the stains and it appeared there was no further pretreatment than the general spraying that happened. They cleaned all 6 rooms plus hallways in 90 minutes. After they loaded things I asked about drying time and the stains. The young man said, "Oh I don't know, I don't think they came out". Really? That was it. I checked the area and the downstairs looked completely unchanged, even traffic areas didn't appear much better. Upstairs looked fine. I did have to clean up puddles of water on my wood and tile floor that abutted the carpet but no damage was done. <br> <br>Given the number of players in the carpet cleaning space, I would probably try someone else in the future. I was very disappointed in the downstairs carpet. <p></p>"

"Scheduled 830-9.  At 930 I called to learn they were missing an employee.  They moved us to later in the day and advised someone would call when they were on their way.  No call.  Showed up at the farthest end of the new window.  The cleaning part seemed to go by pretty quick and the guy that did the cleaning was very polite and courteous, well groomed and dressed presentably.  When he was finished we were advised to wait 2-3 hours for drying and then vacuum again.  I had understood that the ChemDry process would be dry in an hour.  We waited the advised time, however much of the carpet was still wet and damp.  We set fans to run in the bedrooms and ended up leaving them on all night as they were still very damp late in the evening.  Needless to say it had been a very long day and resulted in everyone sleeping in the living room as it was so late and we were exhausted from the early rise to finish prep, as well as the prep we had done the days prior, to finish moving the beds back where they belonged.  <br /> As far as the actual cleanliness of the carpet....living room and hall are dark brown so we didn't notice so much of color change, but it is back to being a soft, comfy, fluffy shagish carpet once again.  The bedrooms are much lighter in color so they look very much better, however, I was not impressed with the fact that the edges of the rooms are still not clean and some of the paint was scrapped off the base board in one of the bedrooms. <br /> All-n-all...the carpets that looked the worst before look better, if you don't look at the edges, and I guess that was my goal.  Not sure what to do about the edges except get down there and clean it up myself.  And no, I did not call the office to discuss the dirty edges as the cleaner was the round kind that spins around so I figure its just how it is. <br />"
