"You can never reach the customer service. They never reply to your email or pick up the call. Called them over twenty times to schedule the appointment. "Tanz Irrigation terminated business in the Carolinas in March 2018 and refused to repair my irrigation pump in NC. Although I have a signed, dated contract with Tanz, Inc. for a new system installation in OCT 2017 and follow-on maintenance program, their employees failed to schedule winterization at my home despite promises to do so and calls from me. Tanz does not stand by their work or contracts. I do not recommend their services. Their service pledges are not personal nor professional."

"I had an appointment for them to come last Saturday between 8 and 10 am. No one showed up until 10, fortunately I got someone when I called their office and they said someone would come in another 30 mintues or so. The person who showed did not know what he was doing; he ended up blowing up the pressure valves. when he left he said we have to schedule an appointment with the service tech who will get us an estimate. I said we used it all summer and you blew it up; I saw it happen. He said it is a small fix, juts 2 screws to be tightened and it should not cost more than 7 dollars each. We tried reaching the office to schedule the service tech apt but we could not reach anyone. The following Monday I called office and left a message for their service lead; I was told he would call me back the following day. I called again on Tuesday and was again told I would get a call back. later in the day I got a call back and I updated the service lead about what had happened. he said I should talk to the technician when he comes over. He also scheduled the appointment for the following Saturday from 2 to 4pm. I called the office again on Wednesday to confirm and they said we were scheduled for Saturday. Come Saturday no one shows up; I call the office and their service number and leave 3 or 4 messages. Noone showed up nor have called me so far - it is sunday morning. just frustrated with the overall experience. UPDATE: Finally George came as scheduled this following week; he was very knowledgeable and winterized my system without having to fix the broken Backflow valve; he left it to us to decide when to fix it. the person who came in the first place did not know that there was another way to winterize. it would have saved me a trip from Delaware and would also have the cost the company less if he had been better trained. It really depends on who gets assigned to your job. George is definitely the person you want to go with if you decide to choose this company."

"We needed sprinkler service in late spring, everyone was booked up for weeks and they were able to come in a few days. First time our system wouldn't come on properly, they didn't charge us a call-out fee and rescheduled. Second time they were great, stayed late into the evening, fixed some troublesome broken heads but were very helpful as to what we can easily service ourselves versus paying a pro"
