Professional, quality work! I will do business with them again.
Response from Company:
I'm glad to hear that you are happy with the work that we did at your home in Carrollton and that you plan on continuing to use our company for your HVAC needs. I'm glad to see that you are taking care of your equipment even though it's a couple of years old. It is very important to have your system professionally maintained in order to keep it running at peak efficiency in order to help prolong it's life expectancy. Thank you for taking the time to review our company and the straight "A" report card.

On time and the problem was quickly identified and fixed. I was charged $179 for the part they replaced, when I checked online, that same part was no more than $20. When I spoke with the manager he told me they charged an overhead. In my opinion that's a pretty steep overhead so I will not be using their services ever again.
Response from Company:
Thanks for the review but you neglected to state that the $179 also included the labor to replace the part. You also forgot to add that you have a warranty on the part that we replaced. For 30 days if there is a problem with our work we go back at no charge. The part has a 1 year warranty. You won't get a warranty if you buy the part on line. It may say that you do but I have yet to talk with anyone that ever had the warranty honored from the online places. Yes we did talk about the overhead (insurance, education, phones, vehicle expenses, licensing, taxes, healthcare, etc..).and even advertising were discussed. Did you know that even the lead that came in from you cost us almost $20 just for the lead? Even if we never went out we still had to pay that $20. There are other forms of advertising as well and they all cost. What about the techs knowledge? Certainly that is worth something. He had to go to school and we have to pay him more than a laborer. He has put time into his trade and deserves to be compensated fairly. Perhaps you could pay $20 for the part (don't forget to add the freight and inconvenience of having to wait for it to get to you), but do you have the knowledge necessary to figure out what was wrong with the system or how to replace the part? Do you have the tools required to replace the part. We also pay to send them to school to stay up to date on new systems. Please remember, I urged you to call other LICENSED, BONDED AND INSURED contractors to see what they would charge to put that same part in. I'm guessing that you did not. I guarantee you that we would be right in line with other contractors, if not even less. Please call around and verify what I am saying. We have been in business for 79 years. We have not been in business that long by overcharging customers or doing poor work. This is my family business (my wife and I are the 3rd generation) and everyone here takes great pride in our great reputation. I do respect your opinion but there is certainly more to the story than what you wrote. I really hope you reconsider and call us back in the future. One final thought. You talked with me, the owner of Stokley's Services - not the manager. How many companies do you know of where the owner would take the time to discuss a complaint? I think that is awesome customer service. So you know, I am the person that also handles all after hour calls. My wife has pleaded with me to let someone else in the office handle the calls. I simply want to make sure that all of those after hour calls are handled properly. I will try to help the customer figure out what the problem is in order to get their system running until we can go out on regular time. I will also make sure to dispatch a tech if needed AFTER we try to get the system running.

The technician was very professional and funny. I would recommend their services to everyone!!! Amazing Job!!
Response from Company:
I'm delighted to hear that you were happy with both our technician and his work. The tech that was there has close to 30 years experience in the HVAC industry but is always getting compliments from our customers. He's always the first to volunteer when asked and is just a joy to have around. I will make sure to pass your compliments
