Comment: I own a small home that is being rented to Section 8. Water periodically comes into basement during storms or seepage through walls. I have to put in a sump pump in order to pass inspection. I'm planning on putting the house on the market soon, so I don't want anything expensive, just something that would pass inspection. There is a hanging light (about 8 feet away) that has an electrical recepticle, but nothing directly behind the whole in ground. Also, there is a sink that is on the other side of the basement where water can drain if it's cheaper to run a pipe along the wall versus a hole in the house to drain the water outside. Again, I'm looking for something that is economical and would pass inspection. <br /> <br />Thanks

Comment: The back well which leads to three condo doors has three drains but are overcapcitated when the water level table rises and do not drain. I Believe we need two permanent sump pumps installed in opposite corners outside to pump it out of the foundation walls when this happens.
