Comment: This is a 1940's home in med district. We have a small basement like area under the house which fills with water. It is about 4X4 ft space under the pier and beam foundation and very thick cement walls. It is accessible through a opening that is about 2 ft wide and 2 ft high from the downstairs 1/2 bath. It is table water that rises in this "basement" under foundation- otherwise it is dry under house.I would like a sump pump to automatically turn on when water rises and pump out to the yard.
