Mr. Robert Guarino, President of the company, was extremely helpful in guiding us through the various stages of remediation, demolition, and restoration. We hired, Preferred Restoration & Construction, a company with the decisive knowledge and expertise. Because of their extensive experience, we avoided what could have been a very unsettling incident.

They were the second people to come and they were knowledgeable about the issues and informed me about how serious water damage can be. Including health issues surrounding that. Tracey Foy said he could get started on water removal immediately. However, I wanted to make sure this was covered under my storm damage claim. He explained urgency to my insurance adjuster and we got the ok to proceed with water removal. They had to remove a lot of wet wood they broke down some work benches and items soaked in water expediently and professionally. Including setting up equipment to remove moisture indoors. Tracy kept in touch by phone periodically throughput the job which I appreciated. They also cleaned and sanitized basement. Did a very thorough job I was very pleased. A regular clean up company does not have the same equipment and may have to rent it 1-800 Water Damage owns their equipment and has everything required to test for moisture.
