Comment: Hello, <br /> <br />I am putting an offer on a house, which I am purchasing through a Purchase & Rennovation loan from Wells Fargo, this week. I have noticed, during my walk-through, a few trouble spots that are likely a result of water damage from a badly worn roof. My guess is that I will need to have the roof and gutters replaced along with some interior work on the damaged areas (there is one room in particular where the ceiling shows obvious signs of damage, as well as few spots here and there in the finished attic). In addition to these items, I may also be looking for the contractor to sub-contract someone to re-hook the water heater and inspect the furnace. Work would need to be started prior to payment from Wells Fargo, and the general contractor would also need to pass Wells Fargo's contractor background check.
