"Integrity is the word that best describes Frank Marotta of Con-Tech construction. His work is beautiful because he has high standards. He communicates at every stage of the project because he wants the customer to be satisfied. I could not have wished for a better experience. Frank was here every day, personally overseeing every aspect of the project. The results are even better than I expected because Frank brought so much experience and care to the work. He has my highest recommendation."

"These guys are great at what they do & are very professional. They responded to me quickly and showed up ready to work every time they came to my home. Very respectful young men & I am extremely grateful that I found them. I will be using them for every remodel & flip that I do, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical or general contracting work. John & Brandon are the best!"

"Artie was punctual, polite, professional and did exactly what he saud he would do for the quoted price. I found him via home advisor and was very happy with the end result. He did a fantastic job fixing our porch supports, replacing old columns and putting railings on the porch. His work was top quality. I would definitely hire him again."

"This was a large project- opening up three rooms into one large room, taking down walls and putting in support beams in the ceiling. The project included demo work, putting up existing cabinets, installing new cabinets, new floors, new lighting, moving appliances and water lines, new electric lines, painting, etc. Justin was always super professional and had terrific attention to detail. The project started a week late because Justin was finishing up another project. He got right to work! Our project took a few weeks longer than expected because of delays in supplies and needing to pivot from a loading-bearing post (bad location near the kitchen island) to installing support beams. Justin stayed committed to the project and completed all the finishing touches beautifully."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
