"We are remodeling our kitchen from the studs up and wanted an architect to design our kitchen to make sure the new appliances, cabinets, flooring, lighting, large window, workstation sink, custom hood all went with each other and fit perfectly. We were referred to YDB by our contractor. Jamaal designed our kitchen. As with any remodeling we changed our mind a few times as we worked our way to a design we liked. Jamaal was patient with us as he went thru a few iterations of re-designing and re-renderings. He is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, has good ideas, and an eye for chic. YDB fees are also reasonable. We are waiting on our contractor to start the remodeling work and will post back when the install is complete on how everything came together."

"Lee was a very "hands on" Carpenter. He explained the process of replacing my Porch ceiling in detail. Then he did the job!. He helped me position the electrical boxes for the lights and the ceiling fans as well as walked me threw the molding trim and the strapping required. Lee brought with him a laser that allowed us to make sure the new ceiling was level as well the positioning of the electrical boxes. Lee brought 2 more workers to the project when required and got the job done ahead of schedule and within budget and his estimate! Lee was pleasant to work with and I would highly recommend him for any Carpentry project. Jeff"

"I needed someone to replace a single pane in a 9-pane exterior door. I wasn't exactly sure how to classify this project so went with Glass Repair. I called several Glass Repair companies that came up but they were either unable or unwilling to take on this small project. I called Peter at Sabean Design hoping that he might be able to help out. Although probably outside of his normal business activities, he was extraordinarily kind and agreed to come by and take a look and said that he could probably help me out. He came by today and was able to repair the window in a couple hours for a very reasonable price. I'd be happy to use Peter again for any of my home improvement projects!"

"I hired Leo for a bathroom renovation project. From the demo to tiling to hanging the last towel hook he was excellent! Quality of work and attention to detail was great.
