Recently my partner and I purchased a charming craftsman house but it had a major functional problem. The layout of the house was such that we had to go through the kitchen to get to one of the bedrooms. I designed a new layout which required removing and re-layout of a few interior walls so the kitchen is away from the bedroom and separated by a small hallway and laundry closet that leads to the backyard. As an architect, I started looking for a general contractor through my colleagues at work. It wasn’t long before we found out the estimates we received from these “high-end” contractors were much higher than we were able to afford. Not knowing where else to look, we decided to search through Service Magic. Four general contractors were recommended by Service Magic. We interviewed all of them and received their construction estimates. We decided go with Aligned Construction Company after meeting with Osmin even though he was not the most economical in cost. He was professional, knowledgeable and our gut told us we could trust him. Due to changes made throughout the process the job ended up taking longer than expected, but we are extremely pleased with the final outcome. Osmin and his crew were very patient and considerate from start to finish. Even after the construction completion, Osmin took the time to stop by our house to adjust the cabinet hinges he originally worked on. Needless to say, we are very satisfied with his work and we will hire him again in the future. We would highly recommend him to anyone considering of using his service.
