"Responded within thirty min. Scheduled a visit to check out the job same day, and was even able to do his part of the job right then and there. Also, scheduled for a plumber to come first thing the next morning to complete the installation of the dishwasher. Communication was amazing, and he was very honest and transparent about the job and cost. I was extremely satisfied with the experience from start to finish and will continue to hire him in the future. The professionalism and customer service was above and beyond anything I have experienced."

kitchen and bathroom remodeling specialist, general contractor all types of construction
"Eli and his crew did a remodel to 2 bathrooms and kitchen - they got started quickly and in an amazingly fast amount of time, transformed all 3 spaces in 7 weeks. We have an awkward long skinny kitchen and they not only made it look great it also looks spacious with even more cabinet space! Same story for the bathrooms with an amazing shower stall! His people were very nice and they all are super easy to work with."

6+ years experience, Carpenters, Remodels , and 10 more
"Lee was a very "hands on" Carpenter. He explained the process of replacing my Porch ceiling in detail. Then he did the job!. He helped me position the electrical boxes for the lights and the ceiling fans as well as walked me threw the molding trim and the strapping required. Lee brought with him a laser that allowed us to make sure the new ceiling was level as well the positioning of the electrical boxes. Lee brought 2 more workers to the project when required and got the job done ahead of schedule and within budget and his estimate! Lee was pleasant to work with and I would highly recommend him for any Carpentry project. Jeff"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
