"Our vision came to life thanks to Derrick and his team! We were walked through every step of the process and kept in the loop with the progress of the project. We vetted quite a few contractors and Derrick from Modern Home Designs was able to start sooner than most others and was within the same price range as everyone else, so it was a win win. Our remodel was completed within the promised time span he quoted which we appreciated. Overall would recommend to anyone looking!"

"Our experience with Bayside was amazing. They just finished remodeling our bathroom. Ben and Sam were dedicated to doing a great job. They listened carefully to our ideas and concerns and made a design that was even better than we hoped for. The quality of their work was excellent, and they finished the project on time and within our budget. We're really thankful to Bayside for their fantastic work. If you need a bathroom renovation company that's skilled, reliable, and committed to going above and beyond, Bayside is the one. We highly recommend them for any renovation project."

"Bob was very meticulous about the variable jobs he did for us--from replacing, repairing and paint drywall on our patio ceiling and redoing all the trim on our pool house to replacing damaged hardwood flooring. You would never know it wasn't the original boards. His pricing is more than fair, he never left a mess and he is very professionally polite to be around. I will definetly call him for future projects. Thank you Bob for all your hard work"

"Hired Calderon Homes after another contractor had to cancel due to health reasons and this was his recommendation. Project was a small 350 square foot addition. From design to construction everything went smoothly and any problems or changes were handled promptly (even though some of the problems were of my making) Lazaro and his team were always polite and professional. Everything was done within budget and on time. Lazaro was always available and always returned calls promptly, Contracted with him to remodel the rest of my house."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
