Jim & James showed up on time, always a good sign. They were very pleasant to deal with, but wasted no time and got to work. They are obviously very knowledgeable and very talented as my counter looks brand new. They repaired a split seam and a crack using some material I had left from when the counter was installed. Comment: I need an estimate for the cost to remove and replace the a kitchen sink. Three photos are attached. The measurements are 35 x 18 x 9 with a 1.5 thick eased edge around three sides of the sink. The current sink is a Whitehaus WHQ636 Apron Style kitchen sink. It is 100 percent china. The distributor is Whitehaus Collection in West Haven, CT. The sink is attached to the existing water and waste lines. The new sink would need to be reinstalled to the existing faucet, waste line and fixtures. The existing counter is vanilla corian. We would like the new sink to be a cast iron with a porecelain/china overlay. Alternatively, a high quality stainless steel sink would be acceptable. We believe there may be some difficulty in removing the current sink as the original installation was done in such a way that replacement was not envisioned. The current sink has developed a leak.
