"After days of research and trying different methods,
I called Steve, someone my sister had used for
her computer problems. Because I live in Helotes, and
Steve's business is located in the far NE part of town, he
agreed to meet me halfway at a local restaurant. This was
on a Sunday, only hours after I had called. He said it
could be something very easy to fix, or be very difficult.
He brought some discs which he inserted that
usually works for the more simple problems. Unfortunately,
even after trying many techniques for about 45 min., he said
the easiest and quickest way to fix the problem was to
back up my files and wipe and scrub the hard drive. Then,
reload my files and reinstall the operating system.
When he returned my computer, I noticed that only Windows 7
and Internet Explorer had been reinstalled. The next day he
called me and remotely reinstalled Adobe, Java, Firefox, etc.
I was up and running. He told me to call anytime if I had any
questions or problems.
Enjoyed meeting with Steve. He's very easy going and
knows computers.
