"I recently hired Michael and his crew to give some love to the beat-up old brick wall of my house. Being the end unit of a set of rowhomes, my property has been battered by countless torrents of rains and several hurricanes. Starting from the point of repair service request on Angi's List, Michael responded very quickly and I found him to be extremely courteous and professional. He promptly came to give us an estimate, and his quote was pleasantly thorough! (lazy contractors- take heed!) The work to be done was well described and itemized, included pictures, and very competitively priced. This made our decision a "slam dunk". Michael replaced 59 bricks, and also did extensive tuck and repointing. Michael also noticed some damage in the roofing area which was not apparent during the quote and ended up repairing/sealing our chimney with a cap and stucco (which was not in the original quote). Really went above and beyond. What an excellent contractor! Michael has brought my family a sense of great relief with his work, now that moisture and water have no way in. I will recommend him 100 times out of 100 to friends, family, and acquaintances!"

It also has a colony of Bumblebees that they left undisturbed and was still able to support the stone surrounding it. Paul was our craftsman and he was always prompt and professional. "I had three different chimney companies come out for estimates, including Bricks. Bricks was the only one that bothered to actually thoroughly inspect my two fireplaces and wide chimney, discovering that one of my dampers was broken and more. The whole chimney needed to be stuccoed because the veneer stone on it was falling apart, and previous owners had covered a lot of it (foolishly) in roof tar. Bricks was the only company that thoroughly explained everything wrong, without using scare tactics. They were nice and patient, and I’m confident if anything goes wrong with the repair, they’d come out to fix it. It was a pricey job, but doing things right is often pricey. Worth it, though."

"John and his team did fantastic work on this project! There were 2 major aspects of my exterior restoration project. First was to remove failing stucco off the brick front face. This uncovered damaged headers that needed to be replaced, along with some brick work that needed to be restored. Second phase was to restore the bricks, replace the broken headers, and repoint. John's team lovingly restored the original 1920's bricks (even going out to Harrisburg to find matching bricks!), beautifully refinished the base beside the sidewalk, and installed a dryer vent. Everyone on the team was very communicative throughout the entire process, and left me with a lovely restored Philly row home! I would not hesitate to recommend Keystone Brick & Stucco for your exterior masonry needs."

"The coordination between the Driveway Lady and her partner/husband was not good. It felt like she was making promises and he was trying to cut corners. He tried to skimp on landscape fabric and on rolling (compacting) the stone until I insisted otherwise. I discovered after they left that his men had dumped about a ton of our old gravel base in the arborvitae bushes that line the far end of our long driveway. They also spread the stone unevenly, so that now, just a month later, weeds are coming up in some spots. While I personally like these people, I would not recommend them."
