"I am happy with the quality of the work. It looks like what I was expecting. The price was excellent, they saved me a LOT of money compared to Bone Dry Masonry. Seemed to do things the right way instead of just doing it the fastest way. They also did a good job of cleaning up for a "broom clean" finish at the end. Bob and Linda were nice to deal with. Unfortunately, I signed the contract at the end of September 2020 and it was just completed the first week of April 2021. I would've liked to give them 5 stars but simply can't because of the unacceptable delay and poor communication on project status. The initial delay may have been related to their limestone supplier, but still, they should've done a better job keeping me updated. I was extremely patient because the backyard wasn't being used in the winter time, but had to be pretty firm that the project must be completed before I hired someone else. I would hire them again for something like an outdoor living space or outdoor fireplace made with brick or stone. I don't think I would hire them again for something critical and time-sensitive."

"My chimney was leaking rain into the house around the fireplace. Gary Smalling took care in assessing the problem, even going up into the attic above the fireplace to assess the damage. He and his crew built a new crown for the chimney, replaced bad bricks, filled in mortar and sealed the entire chimney. I had several concerns and he resolved them completely. Gary has a tremendous customer service attitude. I heartily recommend him without reservations. He is a real professional."

"I contacted Copper Canyon Landscape for establishing a new paver patio, back in June 2014. Colin came over and discussed our needs. We wanted a "free-form" design with a Mediterranean look. We had a preliminary design and wanted to maximize the space available. Colin drastically improvised on the design and sounded extremely knowledgeable. He accompanied us to the stone center and discussed in detail the pros and cons of certain pavers and was extremely patient with us. We went back and forth on many stone choices and Colin was very understanding and never was impatient or pushy. 
Due to some personal issues, we had to postpone the build in June and were resigned to move the build to 2015, but Colin and Michelle let us know that the first week of November came open. Colin mentioned that they could get the work done by November 20. We decided to go ahead with it and Colin was prompt in arriving with his crew. They did not need our input for anything and go to work real fast. The second week of November was unseasonably cold in Indianapolis area yet barring a bad snow day, the crew worked continuously and cleared up every evening before they left. We wanted the seat wall a certain way, but he made a call to change the stone, and we were relieved that he made that change. We initially wanted a slanted pergola, but realized that it might look odd from a distance and changed our minds once the build began. Colin and his guys were understanding and changed in on the fly. Even with the cold days and work stoppage, they finished the work without too much delay.
Colin likes to do everything by hand, not using CAD. There are other outdoor landscape designers who show flashy 3D images and CAD models, but they charge for the work accordingly. Some of the quotes I received were outrageous.  We took a great leap of faith and in the end, we are extremely happy that we chose Copper Canyon. I will be using them again to work on the landscaping in spring to complete our outdoor work. I have already recommended him to a couple of my friends who are considering doing some outdoor landscaping in 2015.

"I never met these guys before that day, but, THEY’RE HONEST!! They advised me on what I ACTUALLY needed to bring my fireplace back into a state of safe working status. They also informed me that repairs that the Chimney Doctor advised were NOT required (troubling to say the least!). This bad advice was simply, a proposed sale of unnecessary equipment based, upon the opinion of a Home Inspection which did NOT include a Certified Inspection of the fireplace! To the contrary, All Swept Up Chimney Services saved me hundreds of $, and flat out stated that “We want your business, but not if it means selling you something that you don’t need. “ All Swept Up Chimney Servicemen provided a Level II Inspection and replaced the back panel of the refractory brick that had eroded away (something that the Chimney Doctor never noted - but of which I already had full knowledge). Thanks Gentlemen of All Swept Up Chimney Services, YOUR INTEGRITY is truly appreciated!!!!!"
