"My initial review of this company was excellent however, after they left we started to notice things were not right. The stainless steel doors they installed under our BBQ were badly stained with cement and we could not get the stains off, there was cement stains on the back of our house and back door which we could not get off, The planters we asked them to install we not properly drain and filled up with water so much that we could not plant any flowers, the screens on our brand new outdoor gazebo we purchased were badly stained with cement dust which we could not remove and the bar that was built was so poorly supported that the granite company asked that we install additional supports before they installed the granite. After several failed attempts to have them come back and empty promises I ended up fixing all the mistakes myself, lesson learned, don't pay the full balance until the smoke clears and you really get a chance to inspect everything!!!!!!! This company left hanging!!!!!"

"He did a great job. He was here for a day and a half and he really took his time to make sure that everything was perfect. I would recommend brick works without a second thought."

"Ian came to give a quote and he offered several creative ideas for the area, which I appreciated, I wouldnâ t have thought of them!! He is very knowledgeable and honest. Upon discussing how much brick is required, I learned other companies were taking advantage of me. Ian called when he had a cancellation and fit me in. Ian and Steven worked very diligently each day, so meticulous in their work. It looks amazing, I am so pleased. They will be back for other work I need!!"

"Corrected a slate problem I had done very professionally clean and on time"

"Short version: Though the guys were respectful and the fireplace was cleaned, there was lousy, mismatched communication on the company s end that was frustrating and left me feeling like this transaction had an element of bait and switch. Long version: Called and advised I wanted the fire place inspected, cleaned, and the damper looked at. The lady asked if it was wood burning, I said yes. I asked whether someone would be going on the roof to inspect the chimney and I was told yes. When the guys showed up, one of the reps started talking about cleaning my heating flue and needed to go to the basement. I told him I made an appt to have my fireplace inspected and cleaned. He repeated he was told he was there for the heating flue. I told him I didn t know what he was talking about and I called. The same lady said, oh, that s an option for an addtl fee. it s important to have that cleaned esp with oil heat. I told her I didn t have oil heat and asked her why the guys don t know about cleaning the fireplace and are focused on my heating flue vent. She just said you can just have your fireplace cleaned then. I consulted my brother to see if we should have the heating flue cleaned and he said for the price, why not. Next thing we re talking about $1300 liners, which they left an estimate for. I asked one of the reps if he was going on the roof as part of the inspection, and he said no, it looks good from here, you have caps on the chimney and the bricks look fine. I didn t want to argue about what the lady had told me. I went to pay and discovered they charged a fee for credit cards which the lady did not disclose. Though it wasn t a big fee, I could have gotten the cash. The experience just left a bad taste to what otherwise could have been a quick cleaning and better review."
