"Mike called 15min before his arrival. When he arrived with his helper he explained what they would be doing. Job was completed leaving all areas they worked on very clean. Mike then took me over all the works showing me the photos taken of the chimney top, flashing and discussed the energy efficiency I should now experience due to the new lining and cleaning of the chimney. Brilliant communication, professional and timely. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends. I won't be going anywhere else. Office staff are very helpful and patient. Settled on $2100 for complete cleaning of fireplace, chimney, as well as repair of masonry & bricks, installation of new liner & hookup to insert. Returned on the agreed upon date and on time. "Took 3 visits but was well worth the time, attention and patience to get the job done right. First day was inspection and quote for repairs/materials. Work started that day to patch the cement crown that was cracked and channeling water down one side of the chimney eroding bricks. A bowed metal plate on the chimney to shed water between the two flue caps was flattened and sealed with cement so it did not show from the ground and so flies would stop entering into the house thru one of the flues. Crumbling mortar was replaced between bricks and bricks were waterproofed. The chimney was measured and the cap to cover the entire chimney was ordered. The 2nd visit got rained out. The 3rd visit was a good weather day and the cap was assembled, installed and cemented in place. It is amazing how strong the animal guard around the 4 sides of the chimney is. The crew at all times was friendly, courteous & very competent being careful to do the entire project as if it was their home."
