"Our house is 50 or so years old.  Every room in the house had been renovated at one point or another, except this bathroom.  Consequently, there were a number of, um...quirks with which we needed to deal.  The floor sloped.  The studs weren't straight.  The existing wiring was archaic and unsafe.  Parts of the sub-floor and a support beam were rotted - you know, the usual...

Despite the many challenges, we ended up with a beautiful new bathroom.  That is not to say that the entire job went as planned or was without show-stopping events.  However, the delays and issues that were caused were the result of the failure and misrepresentation of a THIRD PARTY VENDOR and NOT NE Renovations.  (I'll address those in a separate review but if anyone ever suggests Palace Design or Romancing the Stone in Warwick, RI for cabinetry or granite, RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!)

 I would really like to post before and after pictures, but I don't see on here how to do that - I'm hoping I can do that after the review has been posted.  If I can, I will.  It's pretty amazing.  After all was said and done, the job ended with handshakes and hugs.  We've retired Anthony's coffee mug and my 8 year old daughter misses the bowl of M&Ms on the bathroom counter.  But we LOVE our new whirlpool tub, the stunning shower display, the beautiful tile work and our double sinks.  And...that beautiful laundry shute that Anthony built for us.
