"We had a really positive experience with Joe's Masonry. I requested a quote, and the owner of the company personally came out the next day to give us a quote. We got several quotes, and this quote was very fair. Our stoop had decorating mortar. They cut all of the old mortar out and replaced it with mortar that matched the rest of our brick. They replaced a few crumbling/broken bricks. They then extended two narrow stairs to make them the width of the stoop with additional bricks. This involved digging out dirt and pouring a concrete foundation before extending the steps. You can't tell the difference between where the old steps ended and where the add on started. They were kind, friendly, and conscientious. They said it the job would take 4 days. Four days later it was done. It looks great! I have had so many bad experiences with home repair. This was not one of them. I would recommend this company if you are needing brick work done."

We had a real issue with water coming in from holes in the brick from shutters and further facilitated by improper flashing from new roof we had installed 4 years ago. Everyone wanted to tear down all the brick and start over. Nelson's said no this can be fixed and fixed well and here is what to do to avoid issues in the future. They were quick to respond given I was looking at the brick from the inside of my house. I'm grateful to them and highly recommend!!"

"Brad was professional, punctual and personable. Initially I showed him some bricks that were either loose or totally off our front steps to our house. We also needed some repair on a brick walkway set in mortar. Upon his extra thorough inspection of the steps, many more bricks were slightly loose. He gave me many options. He told me that the labor costs would be more extensive to repair all the bricks on the treads and suggested a solid stone tread. He offered options on this product and layout. The project turned out beautifully and looks like it should have always had the stone on the treads. He also pressure washed and sealed the walkway and stoop vastly improving the look.
