"Terry was very detailed oriented and professional. He is a quick communicator and usually responded to calls or texts within the hour. I would definitely recommend him for any interior stone or brick work involving mortar again as he did a great job."

"Spencer construction did excellent repair work on my 100 year old chimneys, including repointing, new crowns and flues. They looked carefully at the work beforehand, gave a reasonable quote and completed within a couple of weeks. I highly reccomend them. Ben Morris"

"Tara contacted us quickly and scheduled our project without delay. Isaac exhibited great skill and knowledge with his work and gave us confidence that we had selected the right company to do our work. Black Horse Masonry is a small family owned business and they pride them selves in delivering service, service, service."

"NGL Pavingstone and Retaining Wall was not the lowest bid, but their staff was by far the most professional, responsive, honest, and competent. NGL even emailed us links to supplier websites so we could choose the stone and color for our new wall. Alexander even brought stone samples with him when we signed the contract. We arrived home after a short vacation to find the job completed perfectly. Alexander and his Holly were in close contact and even offered to stop by to review the work in person (since we were gone when the work was completed). We will be hiring this company again as we develop our back yard further. I highly recommend NGL Pavingstone and Retaining Wall. -Greg Paine (253) 381-6108"

"Domenic was great to work with! Very professional and a very pleasing personality. I hired him to patch a flagstone patio that had a bid hole because a built-in fireplace was removed. He did a great job of matching the stone and pattern. I like his work so much that I hired him for another project to build a new stone step for my front doorway to replace a rotted wood one. Again he did a wonderful job 😊"

"Absolutely the best! Our project was installation of a pea gravel driveway with edging, a boulder wall and stone transitions where it met concrete. When finished it was beyond our expectations! * incredible attention to detail led to beautiful results * crew was professional and timely as promised* excellent communication with Simma all the way through * project completed within timeframe estimate * and best of all.. no nonsense with anything!"

"Friendly, reasonable quote, very thorough in tuckpointing brick home, cleaned up well. Would definitely use again."

"We bought a house built in 1930; it is partially brick-clad and has two brick chimneys. Our remodel contractor referred us to a mason who, because of other commitments, could only do one aspect of our job, and on completion, referred us to Powers. This was one of the most fortunate referrals we used. Working with Powers starts with a call to the office and from the get-go, that connection is outstanding. Connie was my go-to office person and she is organized, excellent at communicating (notifies you of when and who to expect re estimates and work), follows through with concerns, and handles billings efficiently and transparently. Absolutely A+. Then, there is the actual work: set-up to clean-up is totally professional, and again, transparent. Variety, quality and cost of materials is discussed; questions are answered; work is careful, thorough and efficient. Masonry work needed is assessed and described on a priority basis. If your masonry needs sealing, it is only done after the correct amount of drying time is achieved -- careful scheduling and rescheduling is arranged around the weather and curing of mortar. If you want to re-use bricks, they are chosen deliberately for quality, size, type, and appearance, and they are integrated and set appropriately. Our job involved several independent aspects: chimney inspections, removing and bricking in of a window, sealing, rowlock and wall tuck-pointing, then, new construction with recycled bricks that needed to be matched to existing brickwork. There were multiple visits over a period of time, but continuity was assured through Ekraam, who continued as the lead on all the work done for our job. Another A+. Absolutely everything about this company speaks to ensuring excellent work at a competitive cost. We recommend them highly and are so pleased we were referred to them by another masonry company of established excellent repute."

"Harry and his crew did an excellent job for us. They removed an old ineffective retaining wall, and installed two solid new walls in its place. They also removed a cracked concrete walkway and a gravel walkway and replaced them with a beautiful stone path. We highly recommend them!"

"Foundation Repairs - We had dry rotted wooden posts due to concrete pads being buried below the dirt. Wu Construction replaced the posts/ piers and placed new concrete pads on top of the existing to raise them above the dirt. I had some questions and Victor Wu followed up with me. Victor is very professional, honest and fairly priced. I would recommend them to anyone who needed these services as well."
