"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

"I needed repointing/repair of a 50 year old chimney. Jim did a great job. He was in contact with me from the beginning by phone and text. The job was done within the timeframe he gave me. He even found a problem with the flue stack I was not aware of and fixed it at no additional cost. He kept the work area clean and even power washed the chimney, house and walkway to remove the stone dust. Very pleased. Would recommend him highly."

"We hired Dimitri to repair our front steps, which are brick. We previously had them repaired through our property management company and it was a botched job that fell apart in less than 2 years. Dimitri was quick in responding to our request for a quote, thoroughly answered all of our questions about what needed to be done, and made room in his packed schedule to complete the job in short order. On the day of the repair, his team showed up on time, worked efficiently, and they were very respectful of the property. The repair itself seems to be solid and we'd definitely hire Dimitri again for masonry work on the property! Of note, we did have a minor miscommunication regarding when payment was due (partially our fault because we should have asked for clarification when we hired him). "We hired Michael and his team to replace our front walk and back patio. For the front walkway, they removed all of the old bricks and stacked them neatly out of the way in the woods, and then leveled everything and installed new pavers. They also used mortar to set the edging in place. They had to remove the old sand and brought in aggregate and stone dust as a base. In the back, they re-used the old bricks but had to remove everything, level it out, and then re-install. New aggregate and stone dust here too. Completed everything in three days and worked very long hours (7am to 7 pm). We made a few small adjustments along the way and the guys were very accomodating. Would definitely hire this crew again."

"All aspects of the job went as well as it possibly could. The carpenter patched the roof so one couldn’t even tell a chimney had ever been there. The large metal chimney was removed without incident. The gas fireplace insert needed to be cut out so as to preserve the brick encasing the fireplace and the wood mantel. Jim then expertly installed the electric fireplace, doing a beautiful job both solidly securing the new fireplace and making sure the presentation of the fireplace was perfect! It was a pleasure to see someone take meticulous care throughout the entire job, which included thoroughly cleaning up afterwards."
