"Tara contacted us quickly and scheduled our project without delay. Isaac exhibited great skill and knowledge with his work and gave us confidence that we had selected the right company to do our work. Black Horse Masonry is a small family owned business and they pride them selves in delivering service, service, service."

"Superb. Initial meeting & project walk through with Holly (project mgr, sales, & likely a few other hats in this family business) generated a detailed scope of work & bid within 2 days. I mulled over that as well as ideas we had discussed during, & that occurred to me after, initial meet. Had a followup meet to walk through & refine those ideas. Received email with updated scope and bid. We agreed to reasonable payment terms, met again to sign contract & make down payment to begin work. We met once more day before job start with Manuel (owner & foreman) to walkthru & ensure all on the same page. Due to time of year, they estimated completing job within 10 calendar days. 4-man crew showed up on day 1 and when I got home that night was impressed with progress - entire area was essentially prepped - digging, leveling, removing existing bricks & stones, 1 bush removed & replanted elsewhere. I worked from home next day and saw very coordinated efforts resulting in major portions in place by end of day 2. Day 3 was cut short by rain, but still managed to complete entire job by end of day 4. And that included a couple of tweaks (which direction pavers would run) and then some actual additions (expanded curbside landing & an additional retaining wall). Those last 2 were change orders & painless, pricing based on additional material. At end of job everything was cleaned up, put back in place, and looks better than I'd imagined. This is the second job NGL has done for us & I cannot imagine going with anyone else if we have future work."

"The Bricks Doctor came out and tuck pointed the outside of my house and chimney within 7 days. They had to replace a few bricks and did it at no cost. I have a big house so I was amazed with their timeline. They did an amazing job on my 8 ft high chimney. Their crew of 4 people finished the job with precision."

"Sound brickworks replaced some pavers that had been removed for a plumbing issue. They did a great job, they did it quickly and professionally. I would recommend them for any paving job in a minute."

"Mr. Hoepfner did a great job. Was very nice to work with and I will use him in the future for 2 other projects that I have scheduled."

"French drain installation along a retaining wall (75 yards). Thomas who handled the sales end of things was friendly and responsive. The crew showed up on time. They were hard working and receptive of customer feedback. They first removed the ivy that was obstructing the work area and then completed the trench on day 1 which uncovered some of the unwelcome water sources. A legacy footing drain was plumbed directly into the main french drain pipe. Perpherated pipe was dropped in on Day 2 followed by river rock, catch basins, and 3 ft dry well installation. Cleanup was done thoroughly. I would hire them again in a heartbeat."

"Excellent work and great craftsmanship. Ron was professional, showed up on time, and completed the job exactly as promised. The finished work looks fantastic and blends perfectly with the existing masonry. I’ve included before-and-after photos because they really show the improvement. I would definitely hire him again."

"We needed a short retaining wall and, based previous ratings and estimate, we hired Magical Forest General Contractor & Landscaping LLC to do the work. Not only did they do an excellent job, they gave me a great suggestion for installing stone stairs. He did an awesome job with that as well! We will definitely hire Ricardo and his team again for our landscaping needs."
