He consulted with me about what we wanted and what he would do to complete the job before beginning. He was meticulous in measuring, cleaning the brick, checking the slope to facilitate drainage, and adding a strong base to support the bricks. The finished patio looks like it never had bricks removed. The seams are tight and pattern consistent. The dog run is beautiful too.  Cleanup was done and the job was finished in the promised time.
We are very appreciative that he would do such superb work on a project that others wouldn't touch as being too small.  His reliable communications, pride in craftsmanship, and great customer service will be remembered.  Highly recommend Mr. Dunn.

"Mike is hands down the best contractor we have ever hired. The previous owners of our house had done some beautiful and expensive hardscaping and landscaping probably 40 years ago, but it was all badly in need of renovation when we bought the house a few years ago. We wanted to restore it all and make a few improvements rather than start over, and Mike was fully on board with that approach from the moment he arrived. All I had to do was show him what needed to be addressed, and he immediately knew the right way to handle everything, including how to address all our concerns about pitch and drainage, since our property slopes down from the street. He restored our property and made it even more beautiful that we imagined it could be. In particular, he had the idea of covering our existing concrete walkways and steps with blue stone instead of demolishing and pouring new concrete--it cost about the same, is gorgeous, and goes perfectly with house and front yard area. The old path was narrow and cracked, and the new one is wide and fits the property better. The pillars gave us a real entrance feel. They also ran low-voltage lights inside the pillars so they light-up at night. It's not flashy, just clean and sharp. The stone matches the front steps, and everything feels like it belongs now.
