Attention to all details, to all my feisty tastes, changes, ideas. Answers to all my questions, great verbal, e-mail and texting communications with all required pictures. Very good pricing, accurate, no surprises. They sent all electric, gas, water/sewer companies to mark the entire area in preparation for work. They removed old pond, waterfall, replaced water piping with new one, hidden under concrete. All cleaning after each day of work. They have all the machines and tools needed for masonry, granite, trees, flowers, grass, etc. I had a wonderful experience and can't wait to continue working with this crew for the back of my house, driveway, etc. Didn't stop to what was written in contract, added little details with pleasure, no overcharge. He explained every step of the way what was needed for our retaining wall, and how a retaining wall functions; grading, drainage, equipment needed, etc. The gentleman in his crew worked tirelessly. He went above and beyond to work with us, especially since in digging they hit shale, which was a complete headache for them, and meant the job would take longer. Yes, it did mean that the job would cost more because you can't build a wall on shale, but Rob had thoroughly discussed with us ahead of time that you never know what you are going to find when you dig so we were definitely OK with having to deal with that. He also did what he could to make it work on both ends, and we are eternally grateful to him for that!"

My goal was to restore them safely without doing a complete rebuild. The finished stairs look solid, level, and safe to use again, and the overall cost was significantly lower than several full replacement estimates I received from other companies. As with many older repair projects, additional issues were discovered once the stairs were opened up, but the work was completed and the original safety concerns were addressed. Communication was straightforward and the project had more of a practical repair approach rather than a large construction-company process, which worked fine for the type of job I needed completed.
