"Can't say enough good things about our experience with AAA-1 Masonry & Tuckpointing. We had two holding walls with brick that was deteriorating. They power washed to identify which bricks needed to be removed and swapped out those bricks with new ones. In addition they replaced the capstones on the two walls with larger capstones to provide the walls more protection from the elements. Everything was sealed and completed flawlessly. The crew was experienced and professional. Since the work was done this summer, our walls don't even get wet from rain! We are so grateful for the expert repair but also the guidance that replacing the capstones would provide more of a long term solution. Highly recommend these guys for your masonry needs."

"83 masonry Reviewed my initial concern about areas of my home where the mortar was crumbling and falling out. It turned out that rusted lintels were no longer properly supported the brick around garden level windows and cracks were more extensive than I had initially detected. By their expert discerning of the underlying problem they provided a solution of new lintels with drainage to prevent it from happening again. They arrived early the day of the job, the owner was on site entire time participating in the work and provided insights throughout the repair about what was happening. They also supplied before and after photos, and left the work site spotless. Patient, detailed and knowledgeable. Great experience."

"Initially I was looking to get some masonry fixed. Rob came by and pointed out the chimney was in very bad shape. There were cracks in the crown and deteriorated mortar. He provided a quote and a thorough explanation of what work would be done, and followed up with pictures once complete. He was accommodating with my scheduling. "After the last two storms in June and July, our chimney started to leak rainwater into the brick over the fireplace and into the fireplace. I did an online review and found that Top Hat Chimney Service had one of the highest ratings, so I called for an appointment. Anthony responed quickly and we agreed upon an inspection date. He and Lou arrived, inspected our chimney, took photos and made his recommendations. He responded to all of my questions and we agreed on a repair plan. Incidentally, he checked our other chmney and made recommendations for it because it also needed some preventive repairs. We also decided to have him install a gas fireplace. We were extremely pleased that he could begin and complete the work on that day, since another storm was expected within 24-48 hours. Anthony and Lou did an outstanding job with the repairs and installation of the gas fireplace! Anthony graciously did a couple of extra things with the other chimney and we are especially appreciative!"
