He then wanted to be paid in cash daily and by the hour. He had also increased his price substantially. We weren't about to be caught in another scam. He gave us a legitimate contract, called when he said he would, came when he said he would, and developed a trust in us that was sorely needed after the first experience. Marty, a truly exceptional mason was assigned to our project. His attention to detail and his artistic talents created a one-of-a-kind creation. He completed the project in a week and gave us everything we wanted and more. He too was professional in every way. If you're looking for a mason, don't bother shopping around the way we had to.
