"Spencer construction repaired the damaged brickwork on my house after a stolen car ran into the house at high speed. The damages occurred around a brick surround for a support pillar and also effected brickwork between two garage doors. Kevin paid attention to ensure that the replacement bricks matched the damaged ones. He also was able to cut appart undamaged bricks so that they could be reused and make the repair look as if the incident had never happenned. He protected the mortar from rain while it was drying. As an experienced 3rd generation mason, he did everything right. He was the best of 6 masons I interviewed. I would not hestitate to recommend him to others. If you're looking for an experienced and creative mason who is attentive to detail he's the best!"

"I had a great experience with NGL, start to finish. To start, Holly came out, listened, measured, and started an estimate. We had some questions, selected stones from samples she dropped off, and had good communication that got us to moving forward. She returned with Manuel to double check the measurements, and the whole idea. The project started on time. The crew was here every week day for almost 3 weeks. We and our neighbors were happy with how the crew kept the site neat, and the alley accessible. The crew made a lot of sensible decisions based on their experience, and consulted us when needed. They finished off details nicely. It looks great."

He did a great job of matching the stone and pattern. I like his work so much that I hired him for another project to build a new stone step for my front doorway to replace a rotted wood one. "Most of the chimney companies we got estimates from recommended grind and tuckpoint so we opted to have that done as well to get rid of growth between the bricks and bring back some life. Once our appointment day arrived to have the work done Wayne showed up on time (actually about 15 minutes early) and let us know our job should be done around lunchtime which was about half the time we were expecting based on the time estimate we had from the office staff who does the scheduling. It worked out well that I could run home from work during lunch to tie things up and pay the balance for the work. I haven't been up on the roof to check out the work but can get a pretty good view from the top of our deck and chimney looks great."

"Had two jobs for them: a pillar and an upper chimney rebuild. Both were done in a thoroughly professional manner. From estimate to clean up, everything was done beyond satisfaction. They are the type of company that makes you wish you had more work for them and I'll gladly call them again. Cost was competitive with other bids I received. My house is over 40 years old and the bricks no longer made but they took extra effort to match them and once again exceeded expectations. I would especially like to mention Connie for her patience is handling my questions. Great office staff is hard to find and she is a gem!"

"Harry and his crew did an excellent job for us. They removed an old ineffective retaining wall, and installed two solid new walls in its place. They also removed a cracked concrete walkway and a gravel walkway and replaced them with a beautiful stone path. We highly recommend them!"

"French drain installation along a retaining wall (75 yards). Thomas who handled the sales end of things was friendly and responsive. The crew showed up on time. They were hard working and receptive of customer feedback. They first removed the ivy that was obstructing the work area and then completed the trench on day 1 which uncovered some of the unwelcome water sources. A legacy footing drain was plumbed directly into the main french drain pipe. Perpherated pipe was dropped in on Day 2 followed by river rock, catch basins, and 3 ft dry well installation. Cleanup was done thoroughly. I would hire them again in a heartbeat."
