The price was right, the work done quickly and professionally (original estimate was 5 days, they finished in 2 1/2 days), and both the sales rep and crew leader (Keith and Marvin) were a pleasure to deal with. This project was the best contracted home improvement project we have ever had done -- everything went extremely smoothly and no hassle at all. I don't normally write such profuse reviews of anything, let alone home improvement projects, but GS Construction deserves the highest praise. Many thanks, guys!I received the original bid from Keith within 2 days. And Keith was happy to provide a rough estimate for my siding/window job at the time of his initial site visit to my home. His written proposal essentially matched the cost numbers he had provided in his rough estimate. Another company I contacted for this job took over 10 days to respond back to me.Sales rep, Keith, was very responsive both by telephone and email. I even received emails from him on weekends, which is generally unheard of in business. Crew leader, Marvin, ran the crew very professionally. Marvin was available to answer questions and discuss matters as the work was done. He was very pleasant to deal with.The crew worked very hard throughout the entire project. They arrived early (7-7:30AM) and worked until after 6PM on the 2 full days they were here, and even worked on the 4th of July (Independence Day holiday)! Materials used and (especially) workmanship were excellent. The siding (Hardi-board) and windows were installed per specifications of Hardi-board, and GS Construction is a certified Hardi-board installer. The crew cleaned up around my home at the end of every day of work! This was unexpected but much appreciated. The construction dumpster was removed within 3 days after the job was completed and the Port-a-John was removed 1 day after the crew left. Excess construction materials were removed within 3 days of job completion."
