"Hired Black Diamond for site prep and installation of two back yard brick paver patios and walkway. From first contact to project completion was about one month. Michael Martinez provided excellent design suggestions, supervision and communication throughout the project. Project consisted of a little demolition but mostly laying out and paving about 1300 sq. ft. of Belgard paving stones. Workers were very hard working and reliable. Job site cleanup was excellent. In summary, Michael and BD did what they said they would do in a very professional manner. I would certainly recommend Black Diamond to others."

I used HomeAdvisor and I was referred to this Arenas Masonry. They were responsive, on time, and provided a professional estimate. They ordered the specific stone I wanted for our new backyard steps. They tore down an old ugly deck and replace it with gorgeous stone. It has extended our living space and improved the site line of our backyard. We are so happy with the results. My experience getting quotes from using local recommendations and other sources did not pan out. I was shocked by the unprofessional behavior of some including those who did not show up or did not provide an estimate even when I asked multiple times. This contractor showed up quietly, professionally and did what they promised to do. They finished the job on the day promised at the price they quoted and it looks fantastic!"

"I needed to have 20 feet of walkway removed that had been damaged by tree roots. Mark came to my home and explained to me in detail how the old cement would be removed and the details of pouring new concrete that included finishing with exposed aggregate that would match as close to possible to the exposed aggregate that was remaining. The bid for the work came in below two other bids I had received. Mark followed up promptly with a date for the work. The crew arrived on time, removed the old cement and three large roots underneath and hauled it all away, then laid the framework and installed rebar. Within minutes, the cement truck arrived and it was poured. One of the crew remained for the next three hours to finish the exposed aggregate portion of the job. The complete project took around five hours. I am completely satisfied with the finished work. From start to finish all of the contact I had with Mark and the crew was professional, courteous, and friendly. I will definitely contact California Exteriors for any work I will need in the future and will not hesitate to refer my friends and colleagues to hem for similar work."
