"Alex and his team were absolutely fantastic! This was the second time I used them in the past year and they did not disappoint. I hired them to remove stone veneer around my foundation that was falling off due to poor workmanship from a prior contractor and then install new stone, as well as install bluestone on my front stoop. They were extremely professional and meticulous in completing the work. Their daily positive attitudes, attention to detail and cleanliness made them a pleasure to have around our home. They were always punctual, respectful and friendly, which goes a long way in enhancing the experience. Alex was adamant about providing the best service possible, and was never once rude or off-putting when I had questions. I can not say enough good things about him or his team. "Upon a recommendation from a neighbor, we requested an estimate from Quality 1st for two jobs -- inspect and repair a brick chimney and repair our stone porch which had started to sink. Oscar came out within a couple of days, talked about the project, sent us an estimate and we hired his company. Couldn't be happier. Oscar told us the job would take one day, and we were a bit skeptical about that. But he did it and he did it well! Two crews came out and while one tackled the repair and repointing of our chimney, the other worked on our porch. Watching the crew repair the porch was amazing. We requested all the stones be reused because they were original to the house. When each stone was lifted, it was placed "puzzle-like" on a tarp, and after reinforcement of the sunken parts of the porch, the stones were replaced in the the same manner in which they were removed. The chimney is fixed and no longer losing bricks. We trust every bit of the work performed that day. The crew was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable--and Oscar worked right beside them. I would absolutely hire Quality 1st Maintenance again."

He was also able to get my project on his schedule super quickly (within a few days) and completed the entire raising of my existing walkway to eliminate a step and a complete resurfacing in stone of the existing cement steps in a single day. "I never have seen a crew work so hard in this blistering heat! I hired Original Masonry for a relatively small project, tearing up my old garage floor and pouring a new one. Krenar pointed out that there was literally no garage foundation under the garage walls, and he identified areas in the cinder blocks where I was getting a good deal of water making the garage damp and smelly. After considerable thought, I decided to have Original Masonry jack up the garage, lay a proper foundation and rebuild the cinder block walls, putting in a curtain drain around the garage to take care of any future water issues. They did a magnificent job, and cleaned up beautifully. I could not be happier with their work! I plan to hire Original Masonry to build a stone wall in front of my home to level off my side yard. "We contacted several providers from Angie's list as we have not been able to get pavers willing to deal with our sinkhole issue.  Of everyone who came out and provided estimates, we felt Roger from A.Silverio had the best grasp and flexibility as my husband and neighbor (who is an engineer) had specific ideas as to what needed to be incorporated into the task at hand.  Their pricing was transparent, fair and reasonable.  Communication was good and clear.  The office staff pleasant to work with.  Returned calls in a reasonable amount of time and overall pleasure to work with.
Because we're dealing with drainage issues, we'll be waiting a while to let the area settle before laying the stone dust and Belgium block.
