"Mr. Sunny Tubman is an absolute pleasure to work with. He did a great job on repairing the brick facade of my house. I can’t tell which part is new which is replaced at all"

"Black Diamond Masonry did a great job on our fireplace remodel. They were always on time and very well organized. They also walked us thru the project step by step and helped us make good decisions on materials. Black Diamond was the cleanest contractor we’ve ever had, leaving our home spotless after each visit. Their stone work was perfect and the mantle looks great for the price. Highly recommend!"

"Very well. Team was helpful with suggestions, easy to work with. Very happy with finished job. I wouldn't use any one else for stone work, paving, etc."

"Hired Black Diamond for site prep and installation of two back yard brick paver patios and walkway. From first contact to project completion was about one month. Michael Martinez provided excellent design suggestions, supervision and communication throughout the project. Project consisted of a little demolition but mostly laying out and paving about 1300 sq. ft. of Belgard paving stones. Workers were very hard working and reliable. Job site cleanup was excellent. In summary, Michael and BD did what they said they would do in a very professional manner. I would certainly recommend Black Diamond to others."

"I'd add more stars if I could; one of the best contractor experiences I've had. Punctual, reliable, exceptional quality work. This was for a brick patio - they used steel in the concrete, put down a solid concrete base, and when doing curved work they cut the bricks instead of filling gaps with mortar."

"Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend to anyone needing brick repair."

"We actually started talking to Scott in the fall of last year, thinking we would try to take advantage of the rebate for turf removal.  As it turned out, Landscape Solutionshad so much of a backlog that they couldn't even get started before our 90 days (time limit imposed by rebate program) would expire.  But since Scott understood so well what we were trying to do, we decided to go with Landscape Solutions, even though it would mean losing out on about a $2000 rebate.  He even pointed out something we could do to the house to match the wall that would eliminate what we consider ugliest feature of the house (a real eyesore).  No one else we talked to thought of doing that.
To be honest, I was a little concerned at first, because the instructions the owner gave the crew didn't seem all that detailed, and I was worried whether it would turn out the way we wanted (this was a major project for us).  These concerns were unfounded, as every part of the project came out even better than we had imagined.  I know the foreman and owner have worked together for many years, so they probably don't need to use a lot of words to communicate.
The wall is very well made and very solid - much more so than other walls I see in the neighborhood.  And the combination of the ledger stone veneer and travertine wall cap is spectacular.  I hadn't expected anything to be done on the inside of the wall, but they went to the extra effort of adding a thin layer of the veneer and stucco underneath that so we wouldn't see any of the cinder block.  Many of our neighbors stop by and complement us on the wall, and for "beautifying the neighborhood".
The crew was hard working, friendly and very helpful.  What few concerns I had were things that they had already planned to address.
I think the price charged was very fair.  I'd been given quotes of around $100/ft for a wall like this and ours came out to around $110/ft.  I'm sure you can get a wall built for less, but you wouldn't be as happy with it as with ours.
