The original installation was about 35 years old, before the current technique was developed, and Alex was not satisfied with the way the new installation technique matched the corner of the existing adjacent wall section (done by the old technique) - so he readjusted the new metal backing (by cutting it into 2-row sections) in order to be able to more precisely line up the new section row-by-row with the original. So, I guess you could say that in a real sense, Alex made the wall Better Than New! After the past few days of really wet, nasty weather, the wall has held up just the way it is supposed to. Alex and his crew were punctual, trustworthy and professional. Well done."
