"Last year we decided to remodel our kitchen but since we weren't able to change the footprint, we decided to have the cabinets refinished instead of replaced. The old cabinet bones were solid and still in great shape. We looked for a skilled craftsman who could handle the job and found Claude and we are so pleased that we did. After our initial phone call we had him come over and survey the job and he knew exactly what to do. He brought examples of wood and explained how the stain works for each type of wood. We met him a few times at a warehouse for wood stain and he showed us what brands worked better for certain woods. He then would make a sample and have us decide if that was the color we wanted. This whole process took awhile and he was so patient and willing to change it if we needed it lighter or darker. Once we decided on the wood, style and stain he was able to get to work. We originally had a cooktop but wanted a range so Claude took out the cabinet below the cooktop and added cabinets on either side of the range. He also took out the wall oven and replaced it with a pantry. All of the cabinets and drawers are soft close and we love them! It has almost been a year and all the cabinets still look brand new like he just put them in! We are very pleased with Claude's work and would highly recommend him. He did an amazing job!"

Sean Ireland brought samples and photos to our home to help us decide what type of installation we wanted in our closet. He took measurements and then provided a couple of different sets of CAD drawings for us to choose from. He provided updates to the drawings in a timely manner and helped us to make cost-effective choices. Sean worked with us to schedule the installation to coordinate with the work in our closet. The installers arrived promptly and completed the job as scheduled. The resulting closet is beautiful. The workmanship is excellent. Our closet is oddly shaped and all the cuts/carpentry fits exactly. The drawers and doors operate beautifully and the aesthetic is just what we wanted."

"After 15 years our specially designed kitchen cabinets had great structure but many of the doors needed refinishing. We tried to have the original cabinet maker to come out and quote to refinish the cabinets. After several weeks the cabinet maker never came. We turned to the well known home care web sites to find vendors who refinished cabinets. After selecting 5 of the highest rated, we contacted them. Jerry at JLT Kitchen Refinishing called us the next day, a second returned our call in 5 days and the other 3 never called. Jerry came to our house the next day to evaluate our needs. We immediately saw that Jerry was a knowledgeable and experienced cabinet refinisher. He is straight forward and recommended multiple approaches. When we told him that we were not sure which approach was best for us, he volunteered to provide 3 levels of refinishing on 3 separate doors for our decision. Also, we said if possible, we wanted to have the job done in 10 days the day before Thanksgiving. He committed to the 10 day deadline. Two days later, Jerry provided the 3 samples. Jerryâ  s staff was at our house the next morning to remove all the doors. The following morning a staff member arrived to prep the space and refinish the remaining cabinet structure. He was there for the next 7 days and finished on day 9. On day 10, the staff returned with the refinished doors and installed all by days end. Jerry and his staff are hard working and competent cabinet refinishing professionals. They met their commitments for quality and time. The price is not low but very competitive.
