Before it could be replaced, everything had to be removed -- four layers of rotted, previously laid flooring, including two that were tiles, all the way down to and including the subflooring. I couldn't recommend a company more than Magic Improvement. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again as they showed they can do far more than floors, including paint, plumbing, and carpentry.
