"Mr. Vasquez came to the house for an estimate. He sat down with us & asked for as many details as possible. He gently offered advise when we were unsure of an answer. He got us an estimate in a very timely manner. We had 2 other contractors come out for an estimate. J & D was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. We did feel that the price was a little steep at the time. (the end result went above & beyond the price) When we decided to go with them, he stayed in contact with me & came to the sight daily. During the construction, I decided to add crown molding & other detail molding on the walls, as well as painting. Mr. Vasquez did not blink an eye, he graciously called in his painter & completed the request. The project took less than a week to complete (even with the add on's). My house was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. The completed shelves look as if they were constructed with the house. The gutters were a must with the rain & elevation of the new built house. The price was slightly lower than other bids we had gotten. My husband said his only regret was that we didn't find J & D before we built our house, that we would have had them build the entire house. I simply could not be more please with the outcome. Every employee was incredibly nice, and professional. The cabinet doors on the book shelves were custom made & the detail is flawless. I honestly can not say enough about this company. It was worth every single penny, and then some! We will be using them again for other projects around the house. I know I will not be disappointed."

"They did a great job on the painting. When it came to putting it back together we ran into a problem. They hooked up the water line to the refrigerator incorrectly. We did not expect them to do this, according to their agreement. But we did not check on it at the time. Within a couple of weeks we noticed signs of a water leek from the line. When we looked closely we had damage to the cabinets and floors. We had to rip out all cabinets on that side of the kitchen and all contiguous matching flooring in the house and have the area treated for mold and the floors replaced. A multi-month nightmare."
