We consider it a privilege to provide competent and professional home staging and remodeling services. As real estate investors for over 20 years and licensed contractors, we've learned not only how to make homes look beautiful, but also how to best market homes through booming and slow markets.\n\nPrior to staging our investment properties, we couldn't understand why people sometimes couldn't see the charm of our vacant homes. By staging these homes, they became warm and invitingeasier to sell. Seeing our quality work and attention to detail, realtors approached us and asked us to provide our services to their clients. Thus, Creative Concepts and Contracting was born. Thousands of properties later we are the largest staging company in the Salem/Corvallis area.\n\nNot only do we understand interior design and home staging concepts, we work hard to make them affordable to investors, builders, and home sellers making sure that our proposals are a sound investment.

I recently left the union as a journeyman carpenter and superintendent. I built custom homes in my 20’s after graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Before college I worked in all phases of construction from concrete and framing to finish work. I have a well rounded understanding of building and am passionate about what I do and the quality of work I provide. In my personal life I am led by Jesus. I enjoy running several times a week and working out in my home gym. My goals are to provide value to my clients and give back to my community.

"We ordered the pad, they sent us a kit to create the template used to make the pad. Was easy to use and sent it back. A few weeks later the pad came and fit perfectly. I couldn't be more satisfied."
Start by defining your goals and budget. Collect photos of rooms you love, jot down must-have features, and list what isn’t working in your current space. Share these details—and your target budget—during the first meeting. The clearer you are, the quicker a designer can translate your vision into a workable plan and keep costs in check.
Yes, working with an interior designer can help you save money. Designers prevent costly missteps, secure trade discounts on furniture and finishes, and coordinate the project so you don’t pay twice for the same work. Their upfront fee often pays for itself in avoided change orders, tighter timelines, and materials purchased at below-retail pricing.
A full interior design project wraps up in two to three months, on average, while a decorating job takes four to eight weeks. Timelines stretch if you add structural changes, custom millwork, or specialty materials, and unexpected shipping or permit delays can tack on extra days. Talk with your designer about project milestones and build in a little wiggle room.
Interview at least three pros whose portfolios match your style. Review their credentials and ask for references. During a face-to-face or virtual meeting, discuss your goals, budget, and timeline, and make sure their communication style and fee structure feel comfortable. The right designer combines technical know-how with a creative approach that clicks with you.
