"Meg has outstanding interior design skills not only in terms of quality selection but also in terms of spatial design and color coordination. Equally important is her follow through with delivery logistics. I would gladly recommend to anyone who is renovating/remodeling their home."

"We had a great experience with Anthony Bruttaniti and partner John. Their design was perfect, communication was solid, and the price seemed reasonable. Even our contractors loved the final design so much that they are incorporating parts of it within their own design projects. Anthony and John spent various hours working with my wife and I on coming up with a design and layout that met all of our needs now with easy adjustment for future needs. We couldn’t be happier with how our house turned out. We absolutely love it. Highly recommend!"

"This project went great! We worked with Joe for the initial estimate and design. He worked with our budget. Communicated well and with his team, Jose and Mario who also did a great job. They are hard workers and were detailed and got the job done. We are thrilled with the result!"

"Dan gutted our 2 bathrooms and made improvements to our master bedroom, creating new closet space and adding barn doors. Dan is a very honest, down to earth guy. He supported and respected our taste, but gently guided us toward particular aspects of design and detail that we would’ve never thought of. He spent hours with us in tile stores to help us decide what would look best for us. He made himself available to us at all times, and even watered our garden for us while we were away on vacation during part of the renovation. His attention to detail is outstanding. He helped us consider options that would be the easiest to clean, the most practical and the most beautiful. He even came back a year after the renovation to make sure the work maintained its integrity. I would highly recommend Dan for your project. He has a team that he works with to round out the job (carpenters, plumbers, glass customization). We will certainly use his talents again on a future project in our home."

Start by defining your goals and budget. Collect photos of rooms you love, jot down must-have features, and list what isn’t working in your current space. Share these details—and your target budget—during the first meeting. The clearer you are, the quicker a designer can translate your vision into a workable plan and keep costs in check.
Yes, working with an interior designer can help you save money. Designers prevent costly missteps, secure trade discounts on furniture and finishes, and coordinate the project so you don’t pay twice for the same work. Their upfront fee often pays for itself in avoided change orders, tighter timelines, and materials purchased at below-retail pricing.
A full interior design project wraps up in two to three months, on average, while a decorating job takes four to eight weeks. Timelines stretch if you add structural changes, custom millwork, or specialty materials, and unexpected shipping or permit delays can tack on extra days. Talk with your designer about project milestones and build in a little wiggle room.
Interview at least three pros whose portfolios match your style. Review their credentials and ask for references. During a face-to-face or virtual meeting, discuss your goals, budget, and timeline, and make sure their communication style and fee structure feel comfortable. The right designer combines technical know-how with a creative approach that clicks with you.
