I have been a locally licensed residential contractor for nearly 10 years and have recently also acquired my General Contractor license, allowing me to do any work requiring a permit. I have built multiple homes, converted porches to screened porches, finished basements, completed pre-closing punch list, including minor electrical, siding repairs or replacement, code required repairs and more. If I cannot do it, one of my crew can!

"I am a 25 year veteran Realtor® and I also love renovating homes and bringing them back to life! Phil and Mary were recommended to me for my latest project and they had me at 'hello' so I decided to give them a chance. I had already designed my kitchen and purchased my cabinets for this project when we met but I certainly plan to work with them from start to finish on my next one! With 25 years experience in the real estate and construction market, I can fully testify, finding just a 'good' contractor is hard. Finding an excellent contractor is a treasure! They did a wonderful job on the install! Communicated throughout the entire project. Went above and beyond to make sure everything was the best it could be, not just 'installed'. I do highly recommend PMF Installers and very much look forward to a long and productive working relationship with them going forward."

"Extremely satisfied with entire transaction. Doug responded almost immediately to my request for a quote. Gave quote over the phone and scheduled day/time to come out. Three man crew arrived right on time and wasted no time going to work. Did not rush doing the job and end result was, fence looked like new. Will definitely use Doug for other projects in the future."

"I did not go with this company, they refunded my money because I didn't like their design. I've reviewed this before. Please can you stop these requests to do a review.

"They did a great job, very professional."
Start by defining your goals and budget. Collect photos of rooms you love, jot down must-have features, and list what isn’t working in your current space. Share these details—and your target budget—during the first meeting. The clearer you are, the quicker a designer can translate your vision into a workable plan and keep costs in check.
Yes, working with an interior designer can help you save money. Designers prevent costly missteps, secure trade discounts on furniture and finishes, and coordinate the project so you don’t pay twice for the same work. Their upfront fee often pays for itself in avoided change orders, tighter timelines, and materials purchased at below-retail pricing.
A full interior design project wraps up in two to three months, on average, while a decorating job takes four to eight weeks. Timelines stretch if you add structural changes, custom millwork, or specialty materials, and unexpected shipping or permit delays can tack on extra days. Talk with your designer about project milestones and build in a little wiggle room.
Interview at least three pros whose portfolios match your style. Review their credentials and ask for references. During a face-to-face or virtual meeting, discuss your goals, budget, and timeline, and make sure their communication style and fee structure feel comfortable. The right designer combines technical know-how with a creative approach that clicks with you.
