"PJ is the epitome of an honest, hard working business owner He has all the knowledge, experience, and passion for landscaping. He has been out to do our lawn helping us salvage our neglected yard from the previous owners for us and within one season it looks so much better. We had been dealing with excess water in our yard from improper drainage of a sump pump and he even came out even after his normal work day at the drop of a dime to re-route the water and our problem was fixed! We couldn't be happier with his expertise and services"

"I got a deal from Berger about their table pad and just in time for my new dining room set. I didn't have time to set the template due to a new baby in the house. A few months later, they still honored my deal! WOW! I sent it in and they made the pad pretty quick. Shipping was fine and the fit was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone! Truly a good company to work with. A++"

"Christine made sure she understood my decorating tastes and my needs for the space. She provided many samples and pictures to guide us in furniture selection and upholstery colors and textures as well as decorating accents. She helped with lighting as well. She loves her job and is very energetic and fun. I recommend her highly."

Start by defining your goals and budget. Collect photos of rooms you love, jot down must-have features, and list what isn’t working in your current space. Share these details—and your target budget—during the first meeting. The clearer you are, the quicker a designer can translate your vision into a workable plan and keep costs in check.
Yes, working with an interior designer can help you save money. Designers prevent costly missteps, secure trade discounts on furniture and finishes, and coordinate the project so you don’t pay twice for the same work. Their upfront fee often pays for itself in avoided change orders, tighter timelines, and materials purchased at below-retail pricing.
A full interior design project wraps up in two to three months, on average, while a decorating job takes four to eight weeks. Timelines stretch if you add structural changes, custom millwork, or specialty materials, and unexpected shipping or permit delays can tack on extra days. Talk with your designer about project milestones and build in a little wiggle room.
Interview at least three pros whose portfolios match your style. Review their credentials and ask for references. During a face-to-face or virtual meeting, discuss your goals, budget, and timeline, and make sure their communication style and fee structure feel comfortable. The right designer combines technical know-how with a creative approach that clicks with you.
