"The project was completed to our exact specifications. We are very pleased with the work done by this company and would readily hire them again for additional projects. It was a difficult wallpaper removal and wall treatment prior to painting, but was done very efficiently and professionally. Thank you!!"

"Sandy is an excellent interior designer. I have worked with her for many years now and I wouldn't consider working with anyone else. She listens to her clients needs, is great to work with and the result is fabulous."

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me. Overall, they're good designs. However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning. I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question. I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done. If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"Randy from CRT Interior Design saved me thousands of dollars. 10 minutes after walking into my house Randy had her sleeves rolled up and started moving furniture around. She took items I already had and changed their placements for that WOW factor. Randy left me with the knowledge that in decorating, just because I can, doesn't mean I always should. I still contact her when I have any other questions and always hear back from her within 24 hours. I strongly recommend CRT Interior Design to anyone that has interior design questions and wants to avoid costly mistakes. It's such a great feeling to sit back and know your home's interior is Trainor designed to fit you and your family's lifestyle."

Start by defining your goals and budget. Collect photos of rooms you love, jot down must-have features, and list what isn’t working in your current space. Share these details—and your target budget—during the first meeting. The clearer you are, the quicker a designer can translate your vision into a workable plan and keep costs in check.
Yes, working with an interior designer can help you save money. Designers prevent costly missteps, secure trade discounts on furniture and finishes, and coordinate the project so you don’t pay twice for the same work. Their upfront fee often pays for itself in avoided change orders, tighter timelines, and materials purchased at below-retail pricing.
A full interior design project wraps up in two to three months, on average, while a decorating job takes four to eight weeks. Timelines stretch if you add structural changes, custom millwork, or specialty materials, and unexpected shipping or permit delays can tack on extra days. Talk with your designer about project milestones and build in a little wiggle room.
Interview at least three pros whose portfolios match your style. Review their credentials and ask for references. During a face-to-face or virtual meeting, discuss your goals, budget, and timeline, and make sure their communication style and fee structure feel comfortable. The right designer combines technical know-how with a creative approach that clicks with you.
