The owner, Kyle, personally came out to meet with me and developed a proposal and design that met our needs both from a budget and feasibility standpoint given some of our growing challenges and a desire to have a low maintenance landscaping plan. Krause Construction is amazing.  Out first meeting was with John Krause who was very professional, arrived on time and answered all my questions, and was very prompt in giving me the estimate.  Our second meeting was with Frank (Project Manager) who is also very professional, answered the questions we had, arranged for our financing, and scheduled the date for the remodel to begin.  Frank was there throughout the entire time, (which did take longer than we all anticipated due to unforeseen problems that were not apparent until after the construction began).  He kept me updated on the budget, answered any questions I had as things arose, updated me on the schedule of things to happen and when, and came by to check on the progress several times throughout the process.  Frank was terrific through the entire remodel.

The crew that came to do the work was outstanding. James, Rob, Matt were very professional, respectful of both our home and our family, and knowledgeable about the construction industry. The work that was done is wonderful, James and his crews definitely pay a great deal of attention to details, and it shows in the tile work, the painting, fixtures. 

The crew covered my floors with tarps, cleaned up after each days work, they left nothing laying around at the end of the day, and all trash was removed daily. Considering the amount of work that needed to be done, the crew did a fantastic job in getting our home back in order. This crew was a great pleasure to work with.

I can't say enough about Krause Construction and the employees.  This is a great company to work with, I will definitely call them for our next remodel.

The installers, Tyler M., Shane T., and Nate J. went above and beyond our expectations. They made adjustments to the original design which made it better than the original plans. "Fantastic!!! I can't say enough good things. I am not one to normally post reviews, but Dave and The Outdoor Advantage company were so great I feel obliged. Very prompt service. Came out and did a quote within 2 days of contacting. Worked with me to price itemize different ideas and items throughout the backyard design. Afterwards, I received several other quotes from other companies. And while OA ended up being on the higher end of the quotes, I was impressed enough with the professionalism and the pictures of the previous work of Outdoor Advantage that I contacted Dave to see what could be done. Dave worked with me through my itemized list to get the project within my budget and comparable to the other quotes. After signing a contract, Dave and his crew were able to start work within 3 days. Work was completed in 9 continuous days. Having dealt with contractors before, that was impressive!! (If you haven't-- often you'll see companies starting weeks after a signed contract and then working odd days here and there to finally finish.) Dave himself showed up several times to the site to make sure the work was going well. The crew handled all the removal of old product, bringing in tools/materials, installation, and clean-up. The backyard was left immaculate with no finishing work by owner necessary. The finished product was better than I could have imagined!! I am so happy with the results and wish I would have done this years ago."

"Berny Hintz is a super architect who values the customer/client relationship. His work is outstanding--we did not have a good idea of how to reformat our master bedroom/bath to make it useful and convenient to our house design. Berny came up with wonderful ideas. He has jumped through "hoops" when county permit issues arose. He created a 3-d visual of our renovations that we could view using the client version of the software. Berny has been realistic in time-frame of the design phase, construction phase, and cost expectations. We are just finished with design now and met with contractors."

"Excellent job of removing a "forest" of weeds around property, mulching, power washing and repairing porch and brick sidewalk which is saving me a lot of money over replacing these two items. Also removed rotted landscape timbers and replaced with large decorative stone, creating a much more attractive look to front yard. Very pleased with results!"
